Howdy Humpsters!
Hope you are all well and enjoying your beautiful lives.
It’s been a drizzle-drab weather week in Michigan — the annual season characterized by most of the residents by complaining. (Except for those hardy souls who claim to like cold weather. I’m not buying it.)
The temperature is expected to ramp all the way up to 44 degrees today. Time to get out the mukluks and parkas.
According to the AI Overview — which is about as deep as I feel like going today —
“Reduced daylight hours in winter can disrupt circadian rhythms, leading to feelings of sadness and fatigue, a condition known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).”
“Circadian rhythms” sounds like a dance band that performs under the big top. Disrupting that party would make anybody SAD.
Last week’s Hump Day left me reeling, and while there is still plenty to write about — dang it — I’m not going there today! So, I’ll leave you with Dr. Sidney Freedman’s wise advice in this classic episode of M*A*S*H*.

Until next time my friends . . . get outside. Connect with nature and feel the warmth of the sun on your beautiful faces.
With love,
Janna
