Saw this on Facebook. It was a sign outside a church somewhere. "This too shall pass. It may pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass!" This made me laugh out loud when I read it! Hope it at least helps you smile😃 🙂
We're not going to Wildacres this year. I just don't have it in me. You're younger. I'll hope for you two to continue bringing moments of joy wherever you are.
I cant find anything to laugh about these days. If you were near, I'd find comfort in asking you and Stu to perform. The Navajo code talkers erased. The black women. It's hard to find much to amuse, to elevate. And I fear it will get worse. I have learned to believe in the existence of pure evil. And it has scarred my own soul. I have learned to hate. Absolutely hate for the first time in my long life.
If we were near, we would play for you! I know what you are saying, and I am so sorry. I've been trying to not go to that place of hate, but it's difficult. I keep reminding myself that I cannot know the whole picture or its outcome. Believing in karma helps too.
You’re right, we can all use a little humor. I’m sorry that I can’t find any at the moment. Not only the code talkers, but the team of black women responsible for getting the mail out to soldiers… just saw a movie about them…poof, gone!
I don’t even know what to say about this disgusting turn of events.
I saw that movie too. What they managed to do with all that piled up mail was absolutely amazing! While Randy Rainbow has been great, for some reason, his humor is not getting it for me these days. I still find Jimmy Kimmel funny. Jon Stewart can make me laugh, too, but I'm leaning towards apolitical humor these days.

Ha! I love it!

Thank you, Joyce. I'm not going to WildAcres either. We've got some other plans for vacation this year.

I got nothing. Political humor or otherwise. These are dark times.
The assault on DEI is horrendous. Thank you for highlighting the code talkers issue. Voters must remove the stain from our leadership.
The tide will turn, but who knows when.

Maybe try a little Randy Rainbow?

Janna I totally get that!
